Websites for groundworkers

Driveways, patios, drainage and foundations are bought on trust and photographs. I build groundworks websites that show the work and bring in quote requests from across Exeter and East Devon.

Your site is where the recommendation holds

Most people choosing a groundworker ask around first and then look you up. Your website is where that recommendation either holds or falls apart, usually in the first few seconds on a phone.

Clear photographs, a list of the work you take on, the towns you cover and an easy way to ask for a price are what turn a name someone heard into a phone call. Everything else is decoration.

Illustrative photographs, not a real business.

What a groundworks site needs

5 things, in the order your customers look for them. The phone shows each one on a groundworker site.

  1. 01

    A gallery of finished jobs

Driveways, patios and drainage, before and after, sorted by job so people find what they want doing.

  2. 02

    Quote requests that arrive complete

A form that asks for the job, the town and rough sizes, so each enquiry has what you need to price it.

  3. 03

The areas you cover, by name

So a search for driveways in Exmouth or drainage in Cranbrook finds you.

  4. 04

    Tap to call and WhatsApp

Most enquiries come from a phone, often from someone standing on the job.

  5. 05

    Insurance and memberships shown

People check before they let a digger onto their drive.

Fixed prices, published up front

Half to start, half when you are happy for it to go live, and your deposit back if you do not like the first version. No VAT to add, the words are written for you, I do not charge for hosting (if that ever changes, you get three months’ notice and a free move to your own accounts) and the domain is in your name.

Questions before you start

Anything else, ask me directly and you will have an answer the same working day.

Which package suits a groundworks firm?

Most go for Standard: five pages with a gallery laid out to sell your work. If you cover a lot of towns or offer several distinct services, Premium gives each one its own page.

Can I add new jobs to the gallery?

Yes. Add them yourself in the editor that comes with every site, or send them to me and on a care plan I add them within three working days.

Ready when you are.

Tell me what the business does. You get a fixed price and a live date in the first conversation, before any work starts.

Available now. You speak directly to the person building your site.

A flat-lay of everyday things from many small businesses: a cup of coffee, yellow tulips, hairdressing scissors and a comb, a dog collar and lead, nail polish, a tape measure, a paintbrush, a car key, a cleaning spray, a house key and a small potted plant

The phone shows example sites for made-up businesses.
